Siegfried Finser’s latest book imagines collision course of conflicting values
MILL VALLEY, Calif. – Siegfried Finser marks his return to the literary world with the release of his novel, “Collision” (published by Xlibris). This latest book is a gripping, unapologetic exploration of the duality of human nature through the experiences of people caught in whirlwind of power struggles and moral conundrums.
Armand Dillon applies his ruthless intellect to the task of acquiring control of AIC Inc. and his success depends on getting the beautiful, warm hearted Lucinda Brahms out of the way. His two loyal arms and legs, Cliff and Calder carry out his orders, exploiting the weaknesses and flaws in human nature to achieve their ends. Dark secrets are revealed as Armand ruthlessly pursues his goals while Lucinda and her husband, Charles, thrust at the center of his villainous machinations. Can the couple break free from Armand’s manipulative plot? At what cost?
“I believe stories can be powerful awakeners to life’s underlying truths,” Finser says. “I longed to describe what I saw happening in the world. I believe we humans are at a kind of crossroads. Either we conquer the greed, the shadow side of our nature and take our further development in hand consciously and become a better version of ourselves or we stay at a lower rendition of ourselves.”
The author is a thoroughly engrossing narrator, taking readers on an action-packed chase from the boardroom to secret hideouts. Ultimately, this is a stunning thriller of morality, power and political machinations and what happens when they get into a head-on “Collision.”
